Chris Martin

Just over two years ago Chris left a highly successful career in advertising as a creative director and art director at Clemenger BBDO to concentrate full time on his art career. Last year at his first attempt he was a finalist in the prestigious Wallace art awards. Chris was taught to paint by his father who was a classically trained artist.

Not surprisingly, coming from a background in communication, his work deals with contemporary themes, including communication, fame, community and the impact we have as individuals on those around us.

Chris resides in Wellington.
